Igor Milenković - Young Manager of the Year

 Igor Milenković, F&V director at Delta Agrar, won the Young Manager of the Year award, given by the Serbian Association of Managers.

This year, the team lead by Igor introduced numerous innovations that improved the business of the fruit and vegetable sector. The Ultra Low Oxygen cool storege in Zajecar was opened, and the logistics and distribution center in Stara Pazova was put into operation. In the domain of production, Delta Agrar has raised an additional 84 hectares of apple orchards in 2021, and expects a record harvest this fall.

During the challenging pandemic period, Delta Agrar managed to employ more than 70 people in the fruit and vegetable business. In addition to doing business in Serbia, Igor has been successfully running the Delta Fruit company in Moscow for three years.

The annual SAM awards have been given by the Serbian Association of Managers for ten years in a row. SAM rewards managers, employers, companies and individuals who are committed to improving the business environment, promoting the managerial profession and leadership, and devoted to creating a better life for society as a whole.
