Distribution Centre for fast delivery of drugs
Pharmaceutical company Jugohemija opened in Belgrade a new distribution centre for fast delivery of drugs. It is an advanced system of drug and sanitary material customer supply allowing an exceptionally fast locating of the desired product, completion of the order by means of a conveyor system and automatic packaging, and thus, extremely efficient and timely delivery of even the smallest quantities of ordered drugs.
Jugohemija has applied an internationally well known system of capillary supply, which requires exceptional organization of the receipt of customer orders, whether it be a large health care centre o small private pharmacy. Owing to the cutting-edge software SSA GLOBAL – WMS 400 and the equipment of the famous Austrian company KNAPP, orders are expressly processed, forwarded to a modern warehouse, where the ordered products are automatically packed and by own transport delivered to the “customer’s” doorstep.
At the opening of the distribution centre and presentation of the new supply system, the Managing Director of Jugohemija A.D. Smiljka Mileusnic Adzic said that the introduction of this most advanced method of drug and sanitary material procurement will not only be to the satisfaction of customers, but will bring Jugohemija a step closer to the fulfillment of its basic mission, and that is the care for good health. Drugs will always be specific goods and thus their fast and timely delivery to the patient is of utmost importance. The role of wholesalers, such is Jugohemija Farmacija, is to have available at any moment the widest possible range of local and foreign drugs, which can be delivered in the most efficient manner to those who are in direct contact with the patient – hospitals and pharmacies.
Jugohemija plans to establish warehouses of the same type in its sales cenres in Serbia , to achieve a uniform supply system.
