Delta Holding fully recognizes the importance and necessity of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). It is a respected member of the corporate community and proud of the high ethics of its business activities.Delta Holding has embraced Corporate Social Responsibility as a business principle and implemented it through Quality of Services and Products, Environmentally Sustainable Production, Relations with the Wider Community and Charitable Funds.
CSR Membership
Delta Holding has become a member of CSR Europe, the leading European business network for corporate social responsibility with around 70 multinational corporations and 25 national partner organisations as members. Members include some of the largest global companies such as: Sony, Coca Cola, Microsoft...
Delta Holding was the first Eastern European company to achieve membership of this association. This confirms the company’s commitment to the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility.
Charitable Funds
With the aim of strengthening and enhancing corporate responsibility, Delta Holding has established two funds: the Delta Humanitarian Foundation and Fund for the Future.
Delta Humanitarian Fund is directed towards enhancing humanitarian work by investing into permanent education, culture, health and social values. Fund for the Future looks after children without parental care aged between 14 and 18.
Quality of Services and Products
Delta Holding’s member companies provide products and services of the highest quality.
The quality of Delta Holding’s business practices and consumer-orientated approach has been confirmed by its achievement of certificate for Quality Management System’ (HACCP and ISO 9001 standards) in the fields of production, distribution and retail.
Environment
A very important part of Delta Holding's corporate social responsibility programs are projects aimed at protecting the environment. Some of them are pioneer endeavors and were put in practice before corresponding environmental laws and regulations were passed.
In the following period, Delta Holding will campaign to raise awareness and knowledge about the importance of energy efficiency.
Relations with the Wider Community
Delta Holding has established a separate Department for Relations with the Wider Community.Delta Holding is involved in a number of charitable and humanitarian activities including Culture and Education, Humanitarian and Social Needs, Health, as well as Development of Social Community through specific projects.
